Cuffs Custom Clothing

Reinventing a traditional industry

  • Frustrated with trying to find a shirt that fit me, I tried one of many Hong Kong custom tailors. The shirt fit great but the experience was awful

  • I realized that if I could modernize the traditional tailor (i.e. become the "iPhone of tailors"), I could open up a new market for custom clothing

The results

  • Raised $2M in funding

  • Opened two retail shops in Causeway Bay and Central

  • Gained thousands of loyal customers

  • Peaked at $800K in monthly revenue

  • Managed a team of 15 people

  • Featured in over 80 publications worldwide, including Newsweek, Forbes, CNN, Elle, Vogue

  • Collaborated with brands including Lane Crawford, G.O.D, K11

  • Final four in the WGSN Futures Awards held in London, for Best New Retail Concept
